1922 Peace Silver Dollar – 90% Silver – Philadelphia Mint
Original 1922 United States Peace Silver Dollar featuring Lady Liberty on the obverse and a perched bald eagle with rays on the reverse. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the Peace Dollar was introduced to commemorate the restoration of peace following World War I.
This Philadelphia issue has no mint mark and was part of a large mintage of 51,737,000 coins, making it a popular and affordable representative of the classic Peace Dollar series.
