The label illustrates the many intended uses of the scale, including weighing food, laundry, parcels, canning ingredients, farming, industrial applications, chemistry, and railroad use. It also carries the classic Hanson slogan \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e“In a Scale… Buy Quality”\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e and notes the company was established in 1888.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe scale retains its aged off-white\/cream painted body with contrasting dark platform and has a great authentic industrial\/farmhouse appearance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCondition:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Good vintage condition with honest wear from age and use.
