Korean Service Medal 1950–1954 Challenge Coin – Challenge Coin Company – Military Collectible

Commemorative military challenge coin honoring members of the United States Armed Forces who served during the Korean War era.

The obverse features the traditional Korean gateway surrounded by “KOREAN SERVICE”, with a blue enamel border reading “Korean Service Medal” and the dates 1950–1954. The reverse displays the Korean taegeuk symbol surrounded by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” with decorative foliage.

The original Korean Service Medal was established by Executive Order in November 1950 and recognized qualifying U.S. military service connected with operations in Korea from June 27, 1950 through July 27, 1954.

This example remains sealed in its original Challenge Coin Company retail packaging. Packaging shows storage/handling wear consistent with age. Coin appears very clean with attractive blue enamel and gold-tone detailing.

Note: This is a commemorative challenge coin/collectible and should not be confused with an original government-issued Korean Service Medal.
