Vintage 1965 British Threepence Coin Cufflinks – Queen Elizabeth II – Genuine Coin Jewelry
Distinctive vintage cufflinks crafted from genuine 1965 Great Britain threepence (3d) coins, featuring the young laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the fronts.
These classic twelve-sided British coins were struck in nickel-brass, giving them their characteristic warm golden color. The reverse of each coin features the traditional crowned portcullis with chains, along with the denomination THREE PENCE and the date 1965. Contemporary coin-jewelry sellers likewise identify these British threepences as genuine brass coins used for cufflinks.
The coins have been permanently fitted with traditional hinged cufflink backs. Both cufflinks are oriented with the Queen’s portrait facing outward when displayed.
They show expected age and circulation wear, including surface marks, patina and some oxidation/verdigris visible around the mounting area—adding to their authentic vintage character. Please review photos for condition.
A great conversation piece for a coin collector, British memorabilia collector, Queen Elizabeth II collector, or someone born or married in 1965.
