Vintage Gruen Precision 17 Jewel Swiss Ladies Cocktail Watch – 10K RGP

Elegant vintage Gruen Precision ladies’ wristwatch dating to the mid-20th century, featuring a distinctive marquise-shaped case and finely textured mesh bracelet. The champagne/silver-tone dial is signed Gruen Precision, 17 Jewels, Swiss and features applied hour markers with Arabic numerals at 12 and 6.

The case back is factory marked Gruen – 10K R.G.P. Bezel – Stainless Steel Back, identifying the bezel as 10K rolled gold plate. The petite case and jewelry-style bracelet are characteristic of Gruen’s classic ladies’ cocktail watches of the 1950s–60s.

The watch shows vintage wear and age to the dial, crystal and case consistent with its age. A beautiful example of mid-century Gruen watchmaking and an attractive piece for either wearing or collecting.
