Vintage Original Mercedes-Benz 108 Heavy Enamel Grille Emblem – 2.25”

Original vintage Mercedes-Benz grille emblem featuring the iconic three-pointed star surrounded by a blue enamel border, laurel wreath and Mercedes-Benz lettering.

This is the desirable older heavy metal and enamel version, measuring approximately 2.25” (57 mm) in diameter. The reverse is stamped “108” along with an interlocking C/D-style maker’s mark. The 108 marking corresponds with Mercedes-Benz OE emblem 108 880 00 88, an emblem used across several classic Mercedes models, including the W108, W109, W110 and W111 series.

Unlike later lightweight replacement emblems, this early example has substantial metal construction, genuine enamel detailing and a separately applied three-pointed star with center mounting stud.

The emblem remains in good original vintage condition with age-related surface wear, patina, oxidation and enamel wear, all consistent with an authentic used automotive emblem. It has not been polished or restored and retains an appealing original appearance.
