Vintage Pflueger Split Shot Sinkers Tin w/ Original Lead Weights – Bulldog Logo – Made in USA

Great little piece of vintage American fishing tackle! This original Pflueger Split Shot Sinkers pocket tin features the classic green-on-cream graphics with Pflueger’s small bulldog trademark and “Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Office – Made in U.S.A.”

The compact metal case has a sliding lid and still contains a quantity of its vintage split-shot fishing sinkers. Period advertising shows Pflueger split shot was being marketed by at least the early 1960s, while comparable examples are commonly attributed to roughly the 1950s–60s era. 

The tin displays exactly the kind of honest age collectors like: surface scratches, discoloration, finish wear and oxidation from years of tackle-box use. The graphics remain quite readable, including the desirable bulldog logo. The presence of the sinkers makes this a more appealing display example than an empty tin.
