Vintage Mid-Century Blue Enamel on Copper Flower Pendant – Artisan Studio Jewelry
Charming vintage artisan-made flower pendant crafted from hand-cut copper and finished in a striking deep cobalt-blue vitreous enamel. The eight-petal flower features an unusual textured center composed of irregular white enamel or glass-frit pieces fused directly into the surface, creating a wonderful dimensional mosaic-like effect.
The reverse remains exposed copper with naturally developed oxidation and patina, while the front retains a glossy blue enamel finish. An integral pierced loop at the top allows the piece to be worn as a pendant or large charm.
The hand-cut form, exposed copper construction and experimental enamel treatment are characteristic of the mid-century studio jewelry movement, circa 1960s–1970s.
Unsigned and maker unknown. Approximately 1¾–2” across.
Condition: Good vintage condition with expected surface wear, oxidation/patina to the exposed copper and minor irregularities associated with handmade enamel work. Please see photographs for condition.
